Frenchay Brain Injury Rehabilitation Centre

Situated within the grounds of Frenchay Hospital in Bristol, the Centre provides a dedicated rehabilitation service for adults with traumatic and acquired brain injury. Specialising in caring for people with complex needs and challenging behaviours, we are registered to admit patients detained under the Mental Health Act.
Two full-time NHS Consultants, one in Neurorehabilitation Medicine and one in Neuropsychiatry, are based in the Centre, giving us the unique combination of a Consultant specialising in the physical aspects of rehabilitation, and a second Consultant concentrating on the cognitive and emotional side of brain injury.
Working in partnership with North Bristol NHS Trust, the Centre has excellent access to all the facilities, knowledge and resources of the local Frenchay Teaching Hospital and regional Neuroscience Directorate.
