Editing Case Study - Eating Disorders - A Relative's View

Situation:

In 2005 my daughter Maria was admitted to The Huntercombe Hospital after being diagnosed as suffering from an eating disorder.

Outcome:

After care, support and treatment over the past two years Maria has more or less been discharged from the hospital, but is still attending just one day per week. She is now so much better both physically and mentally and I would like to express my heart-felt thanks to you and your staff for getting our daughter to this stage. I cannot thank you all enough for the help, encouragement and support you have all given Maria and my family during the last 2 years. I could not have managed alone and will be eternally grateful to you all.

I do hope this gives other parents and patients some hope when there is nothing but despair. I myself too did sometimes wonder if we would ever see light at the end of the tunnel, but with your caring staff and their patience - the light is now truly shining!
