Huntercombe Maidenhead take on the Link Foundation Relay Marathon
On Sunday 14th June 24 runners from the Huntercombe Hospital Maidenhead will be taking part in a relay marathon in aid of Maidenhead's Link Foundation.
The Link Foundation is a Maidenhead based charity whose aim is to improve the lives of children in the community. Whether this means the provision of specialist equipment for a disabled child, support for struggling parents or simply provision of clothes, toys and equipment to families in need, they can help.
Runners will split the 26.2 mile distance between team members. Last year the event raised over £4000 and they are hoping to do even better this year.
The race kicks off at 2.00pm at Kidwells Park in Maidenhead.
