The Huntercombe Group takes a proactive and co-ordinated approach to research into eating disorders, brain injury and other mental health issues. We view research into these key areas as being vitally important in terms of continuously searching for improvement in the delivery of care as well as increasing the knowledge of those working in our highly specialised field, across the public and independent sectors.
We actively encourage, support and promote high quality research projects that are relevant to our core services and linked to the business in which we operate. The Research and Publication Governance Group (RPGG) within ‘The Huntercombe Group’ welcome any new clinical or non-clinical research proposals from both members of our clinical team and from external researchers. Research Co-ordinator
Mark Rose joined The Huntercombe Group in April 2007 as a Research
Psychologist to work on the Ravello Profile study. Mark started the new
role of Research Co-ordinator in November last year. Whilst continuing
his work on the Ravello Profile, his other responsibilities include:
- working within the Research and Publication Governance Group to develop a group-wide research programme/strategy, including a mapping exercise of current and future capacity of the research workforce/projects
- setting up new collaborations between our Huntercombe sites and academic institutions/other health care sites and
- contributing to the development of new studies
