Clinical Nurse Manager
Location: Central Scotland Brain Injury Rehabilitation Centre
We are seeking a nurse manager with experience at ward manager level, preferably in a related field. You will be a dynamic individual, taking a lead role in managing our nursing services and being a member of the multi-disciplinary team. You will focus on the management and development of the nurses and in the continuous improvement of standards in line with best practice. You will also have the opportunity to participate in clinical care of the patients.

Staff Nurses

Working with our specialist multi-disciplinary team, you will be nursing patients with a range of complex physical, cognitive and behavioural needs resulting from acquired or traumatic brain injury. We are looking for committed, enthusiastic nurses with excellent clinical and communication skills and experience of working with patients with challenging behaviour.

Full time/Part Time/Bank (Days or Nights). This rewarding work involves supporting the Staff Nurses in nursing patients recovering from brain injury. The Rehabilitation Assistant role involves giving nursing care with a rehabilitation focus. Good communication skills, team working and a flexible approach are essential. Experience of working in a healthcare setting is essential for this post. NVQ training Level 2 & 3 offered.

Activities Co-ordinator

The successful candidate will be required to coordinate individual and group activity programmes for adults with an Acquired Brain Injury in a Residential Care Home. We are seeking candidates who work well in a team with excellent communication skills. The ideal person will be motivated, with high levels of initiative and ability to be resourceful, creative and adaptive.
Occupational Therapist

Part Time - £30,381 pro rata. The post-holder will be a member of the multi-disciplinary teams, contributing Occupational Therapy skills as appropriate to the assessment, treatment and evaluation of residents/patients' progress. You will also be required to make an active contribution to the planning and application of programmes to meet individual needs, including domestic, self-care, educational, recreational, group and social activities as appropriate.
Head of School
Location: The Huntercombe Hospital - Edinburgh
A rare opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and qualified teacher to take up the post of Head of School in an independent hospital specialising in the treatment of severe eating disorders. The post holder is required to be registered with the GTC to teach maths and sciences or English and will be responsible for the provision of education to patients aged 11 to 16 (Standard Grades/GCSE) and in offering support to older patients with their studies at higher levels. The hospital has a maximum provision of 22 patients who will vary in ages from 11 upwards. Average school attendance is in groups of 4 or 5 per class.

Teacher
Location: The Huntercombe Hospital - Stafford
We require a part time teacher of English from September 2008 to join a small well established department within the hospital from either the primary or secondary phase to join our therapeutic educational programme. The successful candidate will be required to teach across a range of abilities from Key Stage 3 to Advanced Level. Experience of working within a multi disciplinary team an advantage but not essential.
